Grimey pub just like I would expect in Ireland and the UK. Friendly service, solid Irish stew and fish and chips. Big ol whiskey list, mixed drinks, and solid tap list.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Irish Gem in Timonium!
An Poitín Stil delivers an absolutely authentic Irish pub experience that genuinely transports you across the Atlantic. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is spot-on – every detail captures that perfect Irish pub feel that makes you forget you’re in Maryland.
The fish and chips were exceptional – easily some of the best I’ve had. The fish fillets were impressively large yet incredibly delicate, with that perfect flaky texture that pairs beautifully with a proper pint. You can taste the quality in every bite.
We also tried the Rachel Rubin, which was both good and really tasty, especially when paired with their crispy onion rings. The flavors were well-balanced and satisfying.
Of course, no Irish pub visit is complete without enjoying a couple of pints, and the longer we stayed, the more we fell in love with this place. The space is full of charming surprises – tiny Irish nooks tucked throughout the building that add to the authentic character and make each visit feel like a discovery.
An Poitín Stil isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a genuine Irish experience right here in Timonium. Whether you’re craving excellent food, quality drinks, or just want to soak up some authentic Irish atmosphere, this is the place. Highly recommended!
